Symbolism

Blue represents the sky and sea, gold represents the golden sands and the sunshine, and green represents the lush vegetation. The three green diamonds (the 'Gems of the Antilles') are arranged in a 'V' shape for Saint Vincent.

History

Adopted on October 21, 1985. It replaced a previous design that included a breadfruit leaf.

A 2:3 ratio. A vertical tricolor of blue, gold (double width), and green, with three green diamonds centered in the gold band.
