Is flags.games free?
Yes. Solo play, the daily challenge, every challenge mode, the flag explorer, learn mode, and multiplayer rooms all run in the browser at no cost.

Do I need an account to play?
No. Solo, daily, challenges, and multiplayer work as a guest.

How many flags are included?
Quiz modes draw from 205 country and regional flags, including sovereign countries and regional flags like Scotland and Wales.
Hard Solo can add 29 more territory flags in Settings → General or from the difficulty menu on /play.
Learn on /learn groups study into flag packs (Countries, Territories, and Partially recognized) on one page. The explorer covers all 242 catalog flags.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Open /lobby to create a room or join with a code. Everyone in the room gets the same rounds at the same time.

Yes. It runs in a modern mobile browser.
Tap targets and layouts are built for small screens. For the smoothest audio in multiplayer, headphones help.
What's the difference between solo play and the daily challenge?
Solo on /play is open-ended: pick difficulty, mode, and pool size and play as many rounds as you like.
The daily on /challenges/daily is one shared puzzle per UTC day with a global leaderboard. Everyone sees the same five flags, from the committed daily challenge schedule.
Why don't my stats or streak show on another phone or browser?
Without an account, most game progress stays in the browser you used. Learn mode on /learn stores reviews and streaks locally.
Sign in to sync profile stats, daily streak on your profile, XP, and social features across devices. Learn card progress syncs when signed in; learn streak and activity chart stay on this device for now.
When does the daily challenge change?
Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same UTC date. A new daily goes live at midnight UTC, with countries chosen from the daily challenge schedule.
The date on the daily page follows UTC, not your local clock.
Can I replay past daily challenges?
Yes. Open the Archive at /challenges/daily/archive to browse every UTC day since launch.
Pick a day to replay that puzzle. Practice runs do not change today's streak or leaderboard standing.
