History
Adopted on October 10, 1970, the day of independence. The flag was modified from the colonial blue ensign by changing the background to light blue and removing the crest and supporters from the coat of arms.

A light blue ensign in a 1:2 ratio. The Union Jack is in the canton, and the national shield is centered on the fly half.
