History

Adopted on June 18, 1996. It is the third flag used by Seychelles since independence, designed to reflect the country's multi-party democracy and dynamic progress.

Construction

A 1:2 ratio. Five oblique bands radiating from the lower hoist corner: blue, yellow, red, white, and green.
