Which flag is Thailand?

Thailand's Trairanga was adopted on September 28, 1917, under King Vajiravudh. Five stripes run red, white, blue at double width, white, and red, at 2:3. The catalog reads the colors as nation, religion, and monarchy.
Costa Rica uses five stripes too: blue, white, red at double width, white, and blue, at 3:5. The structured adoption date is September 29, 1848. The history paragraph in the same file says November 27, 1906, and names Pacífica Fernández. This page follows the structured year, 1848, and does not treat 1906 as the only date. The government flag may add the coat of arms; the stripe flag people mix up with Thailand is the plain one.
