Open DailyChallenges ·
Side-by-side breakdowns for easily confused pairs like Chad vs. Romania, Monaco vs. Indonesia, and Ireland vs. Ivory Coast. Each page shows both flags whole, then a short practice. Ten pairs are up, and a flag’s own page links the pair when one exists.
Play SimilaritiesSocial ·
You can hand a result to your phone’s share sheet. Replays share the same way. A Daily share image keeps later flags hidden so you do not spoil the day for a friend.
Multiplayer ·
Multiplayer rooms can run Elimination. A wrong answer costs a life, and the last player still in wins.
Open LobbyDaily ·
The streak calendar now includes a weekly spin bonus for maintaining your daily streak.
Performance ·
Moving between pages feels immediate, and a challenge shows a skeleton while the round loads.
Design ·
Help, the blog, and About use a plainer reading font. Fredoka stays on the game, the logo, and share cards.
Solo ·
About explains the quiz pool: Daily and multiplayer leave out dependent territories such as Hong Kong, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Solo Hard is where you add them.
Read AboutGeneral ·
An About page says who runs flags.games, that an account is optional, and how to reach the team.
Visit AboutDaily ·
Each past Daily day can be opened on its own link, so a shared day is the same five flags for everyone who opens it.
Daily archiveAccount ·
Signed-in players can download a copy of their data and delete the account from settings. Deletion removes the profile tied to that login.
Account ·
A public data-deletion page explains the same steps if you need them written out, including how to ask when you cannot sign in.

Daily archive, streak rewards, Apple sign-in, and Solo Hard saves.
Daily ·
Daily gets a leaderboard for a given UTC day, plus an archive you can browse after the day ends.
Open DailyDaily ·
A hint drawer on Daily holds the extra clue off the flag until you open it.
Daily ·
The streak calendar shows which days you cleared. A weekly chest and a weekly spin sit with that streak.

Cookie choices live in settings. You can reopen them later.
Solo ·
Solo Hard can save a run and pick it up later. Hard is also where extra territories can be turned on. Daily and rooms stay on the shared pool.

Typing accepts a close spelling, including a few alternate country names.
Design ·
Music can play during a run. Learn can speak the name of the flag you are meeting. UI clicks use a lighter sound so the first tap is not waiting on the full music engine.
Performance ·
You can install flags.games from settings. The home-screen icon has a dark version.
Design ·
Reduce motion is a setting. On iPhone, controls ignore the extra tap that used to fire while you were scrolling.

The globe, share cards, Learn packs, and mode guides.
Social ·
World Activity is a globe of recent finishes. A ping can play when someone new shows up, and you can turn that sound off. It was called Global Pulse before the rename.
Open GlobeDaily ·
Daily results can be shared as an image. The card celebrates a clear with confetti, shows your streak, and can show how other people did that day. The result screen can ask you to sign in so the score sticks to an account.
Social ·
A country leaderboard ranks average accuracy by place, once a place has enough finished games to count.
LeaderboardAccount ·
You can sign in with an email code. A check runs before the code is sent so scripts cannot hammer the form.
Learn
Learn packs group flags into a sitting. Signed-in card progress can sync. Your profile shows XP for the current period, not only the lifetime total.
Open LearnSolo
Solo shows milestones as a run climbs.

A how-to guide sits with the game, and a Challenges page lists the side modes in one place.

Similarities can tell you why the two flags look alike. Mystery hints read more clearly when a flag has no symbol to point at.

Flag pages, Help, and Learn reviews.
General
Every flag gets its own page: when it was adopted, who designed it when that is known, what the parts mean, and which flags resemble it.

Learn’s dashboard shows what is due, and a preview lets you study a flag before the next round.

Anthems leaves on 17 April. Jigsaw leaves on 20 April. The old map leaderboard, built on Leaflet, leaves on 15 April.
Challenges ·
Connections, Puzzle, and Flag Builder join the side challenges. Connections sorts sixteen flags into four hidden groups. Puzzle scrambles a flag into tiles. Flag Builder asks you to rebuild one from memory.

Play PuzzleGeneral ·
On 27 March the site moves to a new shell. Solo, Daily, Learn, rooms, and the side challenges stay. The avatar editor, replay viewer, and challenge result sharing come with that move, and a finished Solo run can claim XP.
Mystery, friends, and a new avatar studio.
Challenges ·
Mystery asks you to name a flag from clues. It starts as a daily puzzle, then becomes a fresh set each time you open it, with the hint still on the result.
Mystery modeChallenges ·
Jigsaw starts as a test on 14 February. It leaves in April.
Social ·
Friends arrive late in the month. An empty list explains itself, a tap opens a mini profile, and a full list shows ten friends.
Social hubDesign ·
The avatar editor is redesigned, and round results show the avatars larger.
Social ·
A globe view of the leaderboard starts taking shape, next to the existing map.
GlobeChallenges ·
Similarities can show how close two flags are when you hover the match mark. Mystery clues are rewritten so they sound less like a form letter, and the share card can include a Mystery result.

Typing’s end screen shows the answer you typed, labeled Your Answer.
Solo, Daily, Learn, and multiplayer.
General ·
flags.games starts on 13 January.
Solo ·
Solo has three ways to play. Classic has no timer and no lives. Time Attack gives you 10, 15, 20, or 30 seconds per flag, with extra points for speed. Survival starts you with 3 hearts, and a miss costs one.
Play SoloSolo ·
Difficulty changes the set. Easy is 15 questions on major flags, with distractors from other continents. Medium is 25 and stays closer to the region. Hard uses the full country list and prefers neighbors. Expert prefers flags that look alike, names that sound alike, or pairs people already mix up.
Play SoloDaily ·
Daily is one puzzle for the UTC date, the same questions for everyone.
Play DailyChallenges ·
Blur starts grayscale and heavily blurred, with 6 guesses. Each miss clears the picture a little, and the result can be copied as a grid.
Play BlurChallenges ·
Similarities shows a country name and two flags. You pick the right one across 10 pairs, from obvious differences up to near twins such as Chad and Romania.
Play SimilaritiesChallenges ·
Spotlight, Anthems, and Speedrun are in the first set. Anthems is 10 rounds of listening, then 4 flags. Speedrun times how fast you clear a set. Spotlight reveals a flag through a small window.
Play SpotlightLearn ·
Explorer lists the flags, grouped by region, and you can search. Learn uses spaced repetition for flags you miss.
Open LearnMultiplayer ·
Multiplayer rooms, a public roadmap, and settings are there from the start.

A share card can include the guesses from the round.
Performance ·
From 28 January, flags cache in the browser, so the next round opens from a copy you already have. Speedrun plays a countdown as the clock runs out.
