The large central cross is the Cross of St. George, the patron saint of Georgia. The four smaller crosslets are Jerusalem crosses. Together, the five crosses represent the Five Holy Wounds of Christ.
History
Known as the 'Five Cross Flag', it was used by the medieval Georgian Kingdom starting in the 13th century. It was restored as the national flag on January 14, 2004, after the Rose Revolution.

A 2:3 ratio. A white field intersected by a large red cross, with four small red crosslets in the four quadrants.
