Symbolism

Yellow represents solidarity, green represents peace and nature, and red represents courage and decisiveness. The large white star represents the importance of the union of the country.

History

Adopted on October 21, 2010, replacing the previous flag used during the military socialist era. The new design was introduced alongside the new 2008 constitution.

A 2:3 ratio. A horizontal tricolor of yellow, green, and red with a large white five-pointed star centered.
