History

Adopted on May 20, 1975. Cameroon was the second country after Ghana to adopt the Pan-African colors. The single star replaced two stars after the country became a unitary state.

A 2:3 ratio. A vertical tricolor of green, red, and yellow with a yellow five-pointed star centered in the red band.
